Pantone have announced their anticipated trend forecast for color of the year for 2016, and this year's pairing is Rose Quartz and Serenity. According to Pantone, 'Rose Quartz is a persuasive yet gentle tone that conveys compassion and a sense of composure. Serenity is weightless and airy, like the expanse of the blue sky above us, bringing feelings of respite and relaxation even in turbulent times.'

We can expect to see these colors used across the design world in the coming 12 months, from interiors, fashion, and graphic design. See how these pastel hues can be used in your interior to create a warm, welcoming and calming sanctuary.
