Company Policies/ Terms and Conditions
Tax will be collected from the state of New York (where we are located) and from shipping addresses in states with mandatory sales tax requirements.
There will be a surcharge for any changes made to the shipping address after an order has been shipped. To change your shipping address before an order has been shipped, please contact us at email@example.com or by phone at 1.631.270.4560
Changes in address requires positive reply confirmation from our help desk to be considered acknowledged. If your order has already shipped, there will be a surcharge for changing the address due to round trip shipping incurred by the shipping company.
Small Parcel/UPS Ground
Shipping is free on orders of $99 or more within the continential United States. Small parcel deliveries are usually shipped within 2-7 business days. France and Son will not be held liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense related to delay in shipment or delivery. If a shipment arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible to resolve the issue. Photo documentation is required to process any damage/defect claims. Any damage or defect must be reported within 30 business days of receipt.
We cannot ship to PO (post office) boxes.

Freight Shipments are typically processed within 3-7 business days and delivered via ground with curbside delivery. Delivery cannot be made without a scheduled appointment. Shipments are typically delivered during standard business hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm); appointments made outside of this time frame will incur additional fees. Transit times will vary based on the item(s) and the shipping address. A current phone number is needed both for scheduling the appointment and for contact during delivery. If the carrier is unable to contact you for scheduling, your package will be returned to France and Son at your cost. See France and Son Return Policy for more details.

White Glove Delivery
Full service delivery is available through White Glove Delivery. It includes: inside delivery, assembly of product(s), and removal of debris. Additional charges may apply. Refer to the Freight Shipment details above for additional policy information.
Pick-up At Our NY Warehouse
Orders can be picked up at our warehouse located at 1966 Broadhollow Rd. STE A, Farmingdale, New York 11735. Our standard warehouse operating times are Monday-Friday, 9:30am-3:00pm. You must have an appointment and valid reciept of purchase to make a pick-up. If you would like to pick-up your item(s) at the warehouse, call or email Customer Service after placing your order to schedule an appointment; we will do our best to prepare your order as quickly as possible.
International Shipments, Hawaii, and Alaska
France and Son now offers international shipping and shipments to Hawaii and Alaska. Additional shipping and duty will be invoiced to the customer for their approval after an order is submitted. Once the additional charges and Duty is collected, we will pay the local government on the customer's behalf. Returns will be accepted under our terms, however the customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
Shipments can be expedited at the customer's request. There is an agreed upon expedition fee determined by our carriers' rates that will be charged. France and Son is not responsible for any lack of expediency by the carrier.
For freight shipments, the chosen carrier will call you to schedule a delivery appointment. We recommend calling the carrier and referencing the provided tracking or PRO number to expedite scheduling. You will recieve the carrier info and tracking info in a shipping confirmation email. You may also access this information by calling or emailing our Customer Service team.
**Missed Delivery Appointments: If you miss a delivery appointment, you will be charged for any incurred fees. These fees can include, but are not limited to: re-shipment fees, storage fees, and return shipping fees.
Please read these return instructions in their entirety:
France and Son requires an authorized RMA# for all returns so you must call 631-270-4560 and speak with the Customer Help Team who will issue you an RMA # for all returns. All damage shipping returns are paid by France & Son. If the order arrives damaged, please email pictures of the damages including the shipping box and label to CS@FRANCEANDSON.COM.
If you receive your purchase and decide you want to return the items, you will need an RMA # as well from the help team. Please include this RMA# in the attention line of the return address on your return label(s). This is for identification purposes, and returns will not be accepted without it. As per France and Son's Return Policy, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs (return and outbound). The return shipping cost is the buyer’s responsibility, and the outbound will be deducted from the final refund. Additionally, the buyer is responsible for arrangement of return shipment with the carrier of his/her choice.
All returns must be received in new condition as you received them including, hardware, so please unpack carefully to preserve any foam cutouts. We recommend packing your return well. Our packages are only designed for safe shipping in one direction. The package integrity may not be stable enough for the return shipment, so do what you must to insure the package(s) safe return: double box, add bubble wrap, add foam filler...this is up to you.
All returns must be received within 30 days of this return approval.
Once a return is received at France and Son's facility, the item(s) and package(s) will be inspected to make sure all of the above conditions are met. After inspection, France and Son will issue the refund (with shipping deducted).
The complete process may take up to 2 weeks.

*To help guarantee that your refund is processed in a timely fashion, we request that you provide us with your return tracking information, and keep a copy of said information for your own records.

A restocking fee, equal to the cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund in the event of a return.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org within 30 days of recieving your order to initiate a return.
In the email, make sure to provide your order number and the reason for the return.
Pack any items being returned in the original packaging. Include a copy of your order confirmation in the returned shipment.
Once you recieve an RMA# and return address from Customer Service, write the RMA# on the label, and ship to the provided address.
Email Customer Service with the return tracking information once the package has shipped.
Defective or Damaged Packages:
To be eligible for a replacement, return, refund, or discount claims for damaged or defective items must be filed within 14 days of delivery and must have photo documentation.
To report a damaged or defective product:
Take photos of the product and damage from various angles.
Email the photos to email@example.com
In addition to the pictures, include a written description of the damage/defect.
Include your order number, name, and best method of contact
You will quickly recieve a reply with a remedy to the problem.
Cancellations can be made up until the time your order ships. Once your order ships you will have to follow the return procedure detailed above if you no longer want the product.
France and Son has a one year manufacturer warranty against all manufacturer defects. If a defect presents itself within this time period, notifiy us within 7 business days of said occurrence. You must provide photographic documentation of said defect. France and Son will replace or pay to have the product fixed at our discretion.
In placing an order, you affirm that you are 18 years of age or older, that you are providing accurate, true, and complete information, and that you have the authority to place the order.
